TEAM

We are a recently established group at the Biocev Institute. Our laboratory is a collaborative effort between Charles University and the  Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Comprised of a diverse and dynamic international team, our members hail from Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, and Iran.

MISSION

Our research focuses on signalling molecules and cell surface receptors that play central roles in neurobiology and have relevance to translational medicine. We aim to understand how signalling molecules alter the cytoskeletal machinery necessary for proper wiring of the nervous system.

APPROACHES

Our lab applies integrated structural and cellular biology approaches. We use a wide range of cutting-edge techniques, in particular protein crystallography, electron microscopy, advanced light microscopy, mass spectrometry, protein chemistry, and cell-based functional assays.
